William Bradley Research #2
This is another work by Mr. William Bradley. It is called Victor Bicycles, Overman Wheel Co. It was made in the year 1985. I find this poster is very strong. If it were an emotion I would have to say this poster defines love at a distance. The was the artist uses cool colors is very different in comparison to The Twins. I love you he adds just a small amount of white to compliment the blue. It looks like the background is turning light to dark (from left to right).
William Bradley Research #1
This is by artist William Bradley. It was created in May 1894. This poster is called The Twins from a set of The Chapbook series. I really like this poster for its use of color. The red, black and tan color works really well together. The twins look a lot like tomatoes. I also noticed how William used patterns in the foreground and background to create the body's curves. If you pay attention to the poster you can see little outlines of fat horses. The overall reason I picked this poster for my blog is because it looks like I can put it together like a puzzle. Everything fits!

Gustav Klimt #3
This is by Gustav Klimt and it is called The Marsh. It is a very lovely piece. I really like this painting because of the way how the reflection hits the water. I also noticed he uses those same soft gentle brush strokes (like he did in Love). Also his use of dark browns, greens, and reds create depth in the water. The year of this piece is unknown.
Gustav Klimt # 2
This painting was created by Gustav Klimt and it is called Love. It was created in the year 1895. Its beauty is so captivating! This is an interesting style very gentle almost wispy brush strokes in comparison to his other famous works where it was more dot-like. I think this paint within itself symbolizes the true meaning of love. Although the colors in the center frame are dark they are still able to displace several faces in the sky. The mixture of colors is really great! The two outer frames are very warm and almost (in my opinion) welcoming. Everything from the pink roses to the copper shadows makes it look just like a paradise.
Gustav Klimt # 1
This art work is by Gustav Klimt. It is called The Garden Path with the hens and it was created in the 1916. I really enjoy his work because it just proves that every little speck can create something beautiful. I love his ability to use a number of blended colors to build different shapes and textures. One thing I noticed with most of his paintings is that he seems to like stacking layers or shapes on top of one another. The garden almost looks like columns.
Jules Cheret #3
This is by Jules Cheret. It is called French Flower Festival and it was created in the year 1980's. A common feature in Mr. Cheret's work is a play of shadows and vivid colors that highlight the woman's face and font. Its a beautiful piece. This artist is very focused on details. For example each rose petal and butterflies. I love how he made the flowers surrounding the woman in a floating sort of way.
